November

We were so happy to welcome home Adams Grandparents from serving a mission in Africa. They brought back some goodies for everyone. Stacie loves her doll that Grandma made. We are so proud of them and happy to have them home.

I made this cute turkey bow for thanksgiving. I have to admit that I was really proud of it and way more excited about it then Stacie was.

Christmas

We had a Wonderful Christmas. Stacie got a barbie mermaid from Santa and a doll from Mommy. Daddy got her belts, she has wanted them for so long and wears them everyday, yes, EVERY DAY. Grant loved all of the wrapping paper and Stacie's things. We had milk and cookies after church the sunday before and then dinner with three other families. We made gingerbread houses christmas eve. Ummm, yea, we glue the graham crackers into house shapes then decorate them. Then to end a great week, Grant knocked over the Christmas tree.

We were on the ward christmas party committee and in charge of decorating the tables. The men were asked to set up  the round tables after they played basketball, and even if you are not LDS I bet you know what the round tables look like. Round hard plastic with metal legs that pop out. Well, I went with Adam to decorate the tables after they were done putting them up. Only three men, including Adam, showed up to play ball and all of them had only been in the ward for about 6 months. So, they searched and searched for the round tables. Finally one of them broke down and called someone at 9pm, to find out where the tables were. After being told where to look they pulled back a curtain on the stage and there was a pile of big round wooden circles. We were supposed to put them on top of the small rectangle classroom tables and, TAH-DAH, you have a round table. Our building is really old and it has three flights of stairs, these poor guys had hunt down 13 tables and carry them up all the way to the gym.
The party was a huge success and Stacie had so much fun singing and then they met SANTA!

Leg Warmers

I love the look of Leg Warmers right now and did not want to pay the price for them. I have basic skills in crocheting, but can't really read a pattern. YOUTUBE to the rescue. I brushed up on my mad skills and printed some free patterns, I think they turned out great, and Stacie loves them. Although, she calls them "Warm Leggins" she wears them all of the time. I was even able to crochet the cute little flower with the help of a lovely lady on youtube. It is very addicting and I found myself crocheting like a madwoman.
