The Oregon Coast

We got so spoiled at the Oregon coast. Fran and Nik got a condo and Mom bought a ton of food. We are so thankful to have such a great family. I took so many pictures so I am just going to share a few. I do think it was one of the best vacations I have ever been on!

 

 I wasn't going to go out there but Adam took Grant and Stacie was so scared that the waves were going to take them away that I walked out there with her to show her that we were all ok. She loved it and I FROZE!

 We could not keep Grant out of the water. He would just crawl in until it splashed him in the face. He loved it.

 This seal, I think it is a seal, was named Candy and she would swim over all slow, do a super slow flip and squish her whole body against the glass. She did it about 5 times and Stacie made a new best friend.

 The aquarium had all sorts of cool kid things. This was Stacie's fish shop. Grant kept taking all the fish. Stacie found a "lost" pirate treasure. She found a message in a bottle floating in the water and it had a map in it! It led her to this treasure chest that had gold and a necklace in it. In the car on the way back to the condo I saw a ship in the water. I said "Oh look a ship." Stacie grabs her treasure and in a terrified voice says "Does it look like a pirate ship?" I guess we should not have teased her that the pirates would come looking for the treasure. She sure is lucky to have found a treasure map that led to a real pirates treasure ;)
